Logic puzzles to think through.

Play today’s set, choose a board in the Library or race with friends.

How Ponder works

Everything is free and runs in your browser. Here are the ways to play.

Daily set

Six puzzles a day from six of the eight families. Take them slowly in Calm, or Race through them on one clock and compare times with friends. Choosing Calm sits you out of that day’s Race.

Weekly collection

Forty-eight puzzles: two at each difficulty from every family. Take the whole week, focus on one family, or dip in whenever you like.

Library

Pick a family and a difficulty and open any board. It’s the easiest place to learn a new set of rules, and you can replay anything you’ve finished.

Hints and accounts

Every board comes with its rules and a hint that shows a next step or spots a mistake. You don’t need an account to play; one adds Race, friends and groups.

Eight kinds of puzzle

Each has its own rules and its own kind of thinking. Read a guide, then try a board.

Binary

Fill every space with a circle or diamond. Balance the symbols in each row and column, avoid three matching symbols in a row, and follow the bars and crosses between neighbours.Read the guide

Rectangles

Divide the board into rectangles with no gaps or overlaps. Each rectangle contains exactly one clue, which gives its area, shape or both. Match the clue’s shape; a round clue allows any rectangle.Read the guide

Paths

Draw one path through every space exactly once. Start at 1, visit the numbered checkpoints in order, and move horizontally or vertically without crossing walls.Read the guide

Light Up

Place lights to brighten every open space. Lights shine along rows and columns until a wall stops them and cannot shine on one another. Numbered walls tell you how many lights touch them.Read the guide

Blooms

Place one flower in each row, column and coloured region. Flowers cannot touch, even at the corners.Read the guide

Ribbons

Join matching pairs with continuous ribbons. Move horizontally or vertically, cover every space, and keep the ribbons from crossing or overlapping.Read the guide

Bridges

Connect numbered islands with horizontal or vertical bridges. Use at most two between a pair, match every island’s count, avoid crossings and connect all islands in one network.Read the guide

Mini Sudoku

Fill a 6×6 board with 1–6. Every row, column and box of three cells across by two down must contain each number exactly once. Starting numbers stay fixed.Read the guide
